Senior Digital Design Engineer (f/m/d)

JOB SUMMARY:

Participation in all stages of the digital design flow including

• System architecture definition of new automotive high-speed serial data transmitter and receiver devices and new LED controller products

• Definition of Hardware/Software co-design concept

• System and module level specification of new devices and components

• RTL design in System Verilog

• FPGA Prototyping of subblocks and complete systems

• Collaboration with the verification team on system and module verification plans

• Analysis of simulation results and support for test case generation in our UVM verification environment

• Close cooperation with the physical implementation team for test concept development, requirement definition, and analysis of the design

• Support for operation start-up of new devices in our lab environment

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in electrical engineering / computer science or a similar field of study
  
  
• At least 4 years of experience in digital design (Verilog / System Verilog)
  
  
• Experience in digital verification (System Verilog) is expected

• Solid Linux skills and experience in scripting languages (e.g. Python) are expected

• Knowledge of high-speed serial data communication is a plus

• Hands-on experience of FPGA development is a plus

• Experience in C/C++ and embedded software development is a plus

• Team-oriented style of work

• Good communication skills in English and German
