Inova Semiconductors honored as "Digital Innovator 2021"

In its study "Digital Innovator 2021", the PC magazine Chip ranks the Munich-based semiconductor company as one of the most innovative companies in Germany

Together with the experts from Globis Management Consulting, the PC magazine CHIP has conducted a comprehensive study of digital innovations!

The measure were the patents of German companies. All applications from 2017 to 2019 form the most important data basis were considered and only patent classes relevant to digital technology were evaluated.

In the above-mentioned period, about 15,000 patents were registered worldwide, including about 5,000 first-time applications. In total, just under 3,000 German applicants were involved in the registrations. A large number of applicants participated as co-applicants with many other applicants of a patent. The patents were then counted proportionally. Finally, 2,175 applicants were identified who had filed at least one patent application and were relevant for the study. A total of 186 companies were honored as digital innovators.
