Inova Semiconductors awarded as one of Germany's Digital Innovation Leaders
F.A.Z.Institute awards Munich-based semiconductor company as a leading innovation drivers in its latest study "Germany's Digital Innovation Leaders 2020"
“The current economic situation separates the wheat from the chaff. We see how the innovative and digitally excellently positioned companies are resisting the crisis or even are experiencing a special boom. Meanwhile, other companies that are stuck in the tried and tested are suffering from declines in sales and market share” so the Institute for Management and Economy Research (IMWF) from Hamburg, Germany.
Inova Semiconductors is one of "Germany's digital innovation leaders" and thus one of the companies that make the German economy strong even in the crisis. For this study, the F.A.Z. Institute - a subsidiary of the renowned German newspaper “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” -supported by Prognos AG, one of the oldest European economic research institutes based in Switzerland, and IMWF have analyzed the patent portfolio of 150,000 companies operating in Germany. Not only the number of patents was examined but also their relevance.
The competition does not provide a simple general ranking, but distinguishes between technology fields which does increase the comparability. Consequently, innovation leaders were identified for a total of 389 technological fields such as audio-vision, control or digital communication. Inova Semiconductors was recognised for its innovation strength in the field of "Digital Communication/High-Speed Networks".
