INAP566TAQ / INAP596TAQ
APIX3 Transmitter with 12 Gbps for Video, Audio, Data & Ethernet
with DisplayPort™ Input
The INAP566TAQ / INAP596TAQ is a high-speed digital multi-channel transmitter for infotainment applications. Its scalable physical layer is based on the APIX3 technology, providing backward compatibility to APIX2. It establishes DC-balanced, AC coupled, low latency, point-to-point links over Coax, Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) or Shielded Quad cables (QSTP).
The INAP566TAQ / INAP596TAQ supports to combine both PHYs to one receiver in dual lane mode, resulting in up to 12Gbps bandwidth for one video stream.
The device supports popular automotive displays up to UHD video resolutions with up to 30bit color depth. The VESA DisplayPortTM (DP 1.4) ensures seamless interconnect to state-of-the-art SoCs. Using the dual lane mode with 12Gbps, the device supports uncompressed resolutions of up to 4k at 30Hz or formats of up to 8k pixel width.
The product version INAP596TAQ supports, in addition to all features of INAP566TAQ, High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection according to HDCP 2.3. It incorporates the encryption mechanisms, as well as the required keys, to transmit HDCP 2.3 encoded video content over the APIX3 link. In APIX2 mode HDCP 1.4 encryption is supported.
