STANDARDS

HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) technology is the industry-leading interface and de-facto standard connecting high-definition (HD) and ultra high-definition (UHD) equipment, from HDTVs and personal computers to cameras, camcorders, tablets, Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, smartphones, etc.. HDMI is also a common interface for onboard connections e.g. to interconnect SoCs and Serializers.
