INAP567TAQ / INAP597TAQ
APIX3 Twin Transmitter with DisplayPort™ Input,
DP MST and repeater support
The INAP567TAQ / INAP597TAQ is a high-speed digital multi-channel transmitter for infotainment applications. Its scalable physical layer is based on the APIX3 technology, providing backward compatibility to APIX2. It establishes DC-balanced, AC coupled, low latency, point-to-point links over Coax, Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) or Quad Shielded Twisted Pair (QSTP) cables.
The INAP567TAQ / INAP597TAQ supports up to 6 Gbps per lane and supports the combination of both PHYs for dual-lane operation, resulting in up to 12 Gbps bandwidth to one receiver or repeater. In addition, the two PHYs can be used in twin mode for two direct receivers.
Supporting DisplayPortTM Multi-stream Transport (MST), the device accepts up to 4 video streams with different resolutions. It supports popular automotive displays up to UHD video resolutions with up to 30 bit color depth. The VESA DisplayPortTM (DP 1.4) ensures seamless interconnect to state-of-the-art SoCs.
The product version INAP597TAQ supports additionally to act as repeater for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) between theDisplayPortTM and the APIX link. While supporting HDCP2.3 at the DisplayPortTM interface and HDCP1.4 and HDCP2.3 at the APIX link, it is compatible to all APIX2 and APIX3 receivers.
Further the devices provide two AShell protocol instances, each with 4 independent full-duplex data communication channels, a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet channel over each link and general purpose signals.
